
A 24-year-old man is facing several charges after Lanark County OPP responded to a call about intimate partner violence late on July 2, 2025.
Police were called to a home just before 11:30 p.m. and seized multiple weapons and suspected cocaine. The man was arrested at the scene.
Charges include assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, mischief, and multiple firearms and drug offences. The suspect was held for a bail hearing and appeared in Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on July 3.
The accused’s name is not being released to protect the victim’s identity. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
