The Upper Canada District School Board approved a balanced budget for the 2025-26 school year last month.
The $470 million budget includes nearly $72 million in capital projects and 67.2 million in special education supports.
The board’s also borrowing $25 million from RBC for those capital projects until such time they receive funding from the ministry of education.
The board projects a $400,000 surplus by year’s end.
