A movie featuring a Schitt’s Creek star is being filmed in Almonte.
The municipality of Mississippi Mills said crews are filming across the town and on Monday they transformed Beckers on Bridge Street to White Whale Convenience for the upcoming movie, Kissing is the Easy Part.
The story follows an overachieving student who tutors a wild child in exchange for a college recommendation letter.
Jennifer Robertson, who plays Joceyln Schitt in the CBC smash comedy hit Schitt’s Creek, is among the leads.
Crews also shot at the Almonte Ice Cream shop and along Elgin Street.
The municipality said over 40 films have been shot in their neck of the woods.
