This August Civic Weekend, the Lombardy Fair returns and celebrates its 159th anniversary. It runs from August 1st to the 3rd and Lombardy Agricultural Society and board member Earl Hicks tells us what it’s all about.
The fairgrounds, located on Highway 15 just south of Smiths Falls have plenty of on-site parking and accessible buildings for a totally inclusive experience. Earl tells us of the army of volunteers that make everything possible.
General admission is $10 each and children under 10 get in for free! Earl tells newcomers what to expect.
Something new this year is Chicken Bingo and Earl explains how it’s played.
It’s a great, fun, and safe family event showing everyone the connection between farms and families; don’t miss out, see you at the fair!
