Kawartha Lakes Police have arrested a 31-year-old Smiths Falls man in connection with a series of convenience store robberies.
On Wednesday, officers stopped a suspicious vehicle on William Street North with disguised plates.
The driver, later identified as Chris Sauve, was arrested and found with a knife believed to be used in the robberies.
He allegedly gave a false name, confirmed incorrect by forensic officers.
Sauve faces multiple charges, including five counts of robbery.
Smiths Falls Police confirmed to myFM it’s the Sauve connected to a July 13th home invasion investigation, who was the last of three suspects on the run.
