A 27-year-old man is facing several charges following a disturbance at a local business in Carleton Place.
Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call just after 6:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, after receiving a complaint about a male punching windows.
Officers located and arrested the suspect a short time later.
As a result of the investigation, Dustin Amos, 27, of Carleton Place has been charged with:
- Causing a disturbance
- Possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine
- Fail to comply with probation – three counts
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025.
