Thousands of municipal officials and community leaders from across Ontario have gathered with the annual Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) Conference running until Wednesday.
The event kicked off Sunday night at the Rogers Centre in Ottawa and will feature more than 60 speakers, workshops, and sessions.
Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MPP Steve Clark says local municipalities will get a bulk of their face time early.
Conference sessions will cover topics such as affordable housing, homelessness, property reassessment, infrastructure, and artificial intelligence Leaders will also examine the impact of trade disputes on municipalities.
AMO will also launch its first Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plan during the gathering.
