The Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation is excited to announce its first-ever Butterflies in Flight event, offering the community a meaningful opportunity to honor loved ones.
The event, set for Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Riverside Park (or the Canoe Club in case of bad weather), will feature heartfelt reflections and a message of comfort from Talk Listen Connect.
Attendees can release painted-lady butterflies in memory of those they’ve lost, or collect them for a home release.
Each butterfly is available for a $35 donation, with three for $100.
Limited to 250 butterflies, all proceeds support the purchase of vital patient care equipment at the hospital.
Registration closes on Friday, August 22, 2025, and spots are filling quickly.
Purchase a butterfly online at cpdmhfoundation.ca or by calling Melanie Waters at 613-257-4483 to participate in this special event.
