The Ontario Moonshine Festival returns for its 4th edition starting this Friday, August 22nd at TopShelf Distillers in Perth at their headquarters at 14 Warren Crescent.
Sara Boomer of TopShelf explains what it’s all about.
A big part of the celebration recognizes the heritage of whisky distilling in Perth.
New this year is the Family Day on Sunday. There will be face-painting, a petting zoo, lawn games, a stilt walker, washboard and spoon workshops, fiddle dancing and much more. Sara explains why this addition to the Fest is so vital.
While there’s no admission fee, organizers encourage reserving and obtaining tickets to their choice of day, or the entire weekend, by going to topshelfdistillers.com and clicking on the events tab.
