RCL Automotive's Chris Craig and 88.1 myFM/92.3 WOW FM Ops Manager Bob Perreault
When the RCL Automotive Build a Mountain of Food food drive returns in November for its annual campaign, 88.1 myFM, and now 92.3 WOW FM, will be right there spreading the word.
Build a Mountain of Food (or BAM) organizer Chris Craig says the addition of WOW FM to the team is good news.
The annual food drive makes stops in 11 local communities including Perth and Smiths Falls over six weeks.
Craig says the need never goes away, and partners help make the success year after year. He says the volunteers are the real heroes.
Over its 17 years the campaign has collected more than 2.3 million pounds of Food and $2 million in cash donations. Craig says those donations keep the facilities going.
We will have more information on this year’s RCL Automotive Build a Mountain of Food campaign early this fall.
Both Lanark and Leeds 88.1 myFM and Smiths Falls’ 92.3 WOW FM are proud to be a part of it. We’ll be broadcasting from every stop of this year’s campaign.
