Hydro One has announced the 28 recipients of its 2025 Energizing Life Community Fund, with each receiving $25,000 to support local initiatives across Ontario.
The Table Community Food Centre is one of the organizations chosen, receiving funding for its “Harvest of Health – Better Soil, Better Food Program.”
The project will provide participants with starter seed packs and a garden guide highlighting key soil management lessons, helping them grow their own food and build greater food independence.
This marks the fifth year of the Energizing Life Community Fund, which supports charitable organizations, municipalities and Indigenous communities.
Hydro One dedicates at least 20 per cent of its corporate donations to Indigenous-focused projects. This year, nearly 28 per cent of the awarded funds will benefit Indigenous organizations.
