
Lanark County OPP have charged an Ottawa resident following a traffic complaint in Drummond-North Elmsley Township.
Police say they were called to Ebbs Bay Road just after 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 23. Officers located the vehicle and arrested the driver, who was transported to Carleton Place for testing.
As a result of the investigation, 40-year-old Victoria Muzik has been charged with failure or refusal to comply with a breath demand.
The accused was released with a court date in Perth on September 22. Her driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and her vehicle was impounded for seven days under provincial regulations.
