The holiday means that we’re looking at some closures around the region as people take in the last long-weekend of the summer.
Government offices are shut down across the board. That means no town hall, provincial or federal business until next Tuesday.
Most Beer Stores are open from 11 to 6, while LCBOs remain closed. Many convenience stores carry beer and wine as do many grocery stores in the region. Agency locations like Rideau Ferry and Innisville on Highway 7 between Perth and Carleton Place are open.
Many grocery stores are open on reduced hours. Take note of the hours posted on the doors if you’re out and about.
Libraries and municipal childcare centres are closed on Holiday Monday.
