This is Big Brothers/Big Sisters Month, marked by BBBS Lanark County.
Conner Crane, Program Manager says volunteers are their lifeblood and they’re always on the lookout for volunteers to become mentors for some great local kids.
She says the mentors decide how much they want to give of themselves.
Conner says the public also helps them out in a big way with funding too.
Their next big fundraiser comes up on October 2nd, when they hold their annual Purse Event Auction at the Smiths Falls Golf and Country Club. Get more information
