The Heritage House Crew hosts monthly trivia nights at The Tap Room Inc., 275 Brockville St., Smiths Falls, tonight at 7 p.m. Tables cost $25, with prizes up for grabs. Part of the proceeds support Heritage House Museum. Register: heritagehouse@smithsfalls.ca or 613-283-6311.
Public skating returns to the Smiths Falls Memorial Community Centre from 11–11:50 a.m. this morning. Admission is $2 per person. Lace up and enjoy the first skate of the season. After that Adult shinny hockey kicks off from noon until 1:20 p.m. Admission is $5 per person. Bring your gear for some midday hockey fun.
The Smiths Falls Curling & Squash Club hosts an open house this evening from 5–8 p.m. at 13 Old Slys Rd. Drop in to learn about squash and curling programs.
Perth’s Lucky Songs on the Road Workshop happens tomorrow from 1 to 4 p.m. at Perth & District Union Public Library. Songwriters lead workshops and perform original music. Entry by donation.
Also tomorrow The Royal Canadian Legion in Smiths Falls hosts Fish & Chips Night from 4–7 p.m. Dine-in or take-out. One piece $15, extra fish $10. Pre-order after 3 p.m. at 613-283-2101.
