One of the offerings at a past community meal
The Falls Food Hub continues to expand and develop in Smiths Falls, all in the name of fighting food insecurity and making connections.
Their Sue Bastein, media and communication representative, says they open the doors at Hanley Hall in Smiths Falls every Monday for a community meal.
She says that’s thanks to a great community effort.
The group does have a location on Chambers St. they hope to open in the relatively near future where they’ll be able to expand their offerings for the community.
Also, Bastien wants to make sure that when they say the door is open, it’s for everyone in the community. No exceptions.

Doors open every Monday at Hanley Hall at 11:00 for some socializing. The meal itself is served at noon.
