Additional charges have been filed against a 27-year-old Embrun resident following a voyeurism investigation at a North Grenville daycare.
The Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say the case began on August 20, 2025, when staff discovered a recording device at Centre Éducatif Rivière Rideau in Kemptville.
The incident led to the arrest of Daniel Morash on August 29, 2025.
As part of the ongoing investigation, the OPP Crime Unit executed a search warrant, seizing hundreds of inappropriate video clips involving both adults and children.
Investigators are working to identify the victims shown in the footage.
Morash is now facing additional charges of possession of child pornography, access of child pornography, and mischief, in addition to the original voyeurism charge. He was released from custody on strict conditions after a bail hearing.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on October 3, 2025.
Police are urging anyone with information about the case to contact the Grenville County OPP or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
