On Saturday October 4th at the Clar-Mill Hall in Plevna, Notes for Nature III will fill the air with music in support of the Mississippi Madawaska Land Trust. MMLT director Rob Rainer tells us its purpose.
Opening the evening will be Six Pack, featuring Rob and David Ramsden on guitar and vocals, Mary Lou Carroll on piano and vocals, Rebecca Worden on clarinet, guitar, and vocals, Doug Barr on bass and vocals, and MMLT President Steve Kotze on percussion, mandolin, and vocals. Rob describes the headliner for the evening.
The event will also feature, for viewing and sale, landscape, wildlife, and other works by accomplished local painters Brian Bailey, Leane Bailey, Liz Jackson, and Linda Rush.
Proceeds from Notes for Nature III will support MMLT’s ongoing efforts to acquire and manage ecologically valuable lands for long-term conservation. Rob tells us why their work is so important.
Notes for Nature III takes place on Saturday, October 4, beginning at 7:00 pm (doors open 6:30 pm) at the Clar-Mill Hall, 6598 Buckshot Lake Road, Plevna. Tickets ($25) and more details are available at mmlt.ca/events.
