The annual audit of Lanark County’s finances was presented last month.
The figures showed a touch over $60 million in reserves and reserves fund, or 60% of the county’s operating expenses.

Drummond/North Elmsley Reeve Steve Fournier wants county staff to come back with a report on how to spend the money wisely, as he points out his township’s contribution.
Fournier said 40% of their annual budget goes towards Lanark County initiatives.
