Ashley Knapton from Lanark County is growing her unique agriculture business, A-List Ag Services, thanks to a recent provincial grant from the Starter Company Plus program. Currently in her first year of business, she describes the unique services she offers to Eastern Ontario farmers and ag businesses.
Ashley says the reception she’s received from farmers has been great.
Along with her $5K grant she and other recipients received extensive training in all facets of operating their own businesses which she feels was more valuable than the money itself.
She notes the $5K grant will allow her to do something she thought she might have to wait years to accomplish; obtain an enterprise drone.
