Public skating is set for 11 am this morning at the Smiths Falls Community Centre. It runs until 11:50. Adult Shinny follows from noon until 1:20 pm.

Local Sports:
The CCHL regular season begins tomorrow. But the first local team to play isn’t until Thursday when the Carleton Place Canadians play in Cornwall. The Bars host Pembroke on Friday at the Bear’s Den.
The EOJHL season begins tonight with Carleton Place in Ottawa to face the other Canadians. Smiths Falls hosts Embrum on Thursday and Perth welcomes Glengarry Friday.
