The Hospice Hub invites the community to an Open House for its Day Hospice Program this afternoon from 3–6 p.m., at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Smiths Falls. Tour the space, meet the care team, and learn more. Learn more at (613) 627-0974, or by emailing dayhospice@thehospicehub.ca.
The Hackberry Men’s Shed weekly gathering happens every Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. in the Carleton Place Arena boardroom, 75 Neelin St. Free and open to all mature men. Visit hackberrymensshed.org to see what it’s all about.
Tomorrow: Enjoy weekly bingo at Perth Civitan Hall on Wednesday. Doors open at 5 p.m., bingo starts at 7 p.m. Free admission; purchase bingo cards as desired.
And public skating takes place weekdays at the Municipal Arena in Smiths Falls at 11am, for just a toonie.
Local Sports:
After a busy weekend in the CCHL, there are no games this week until Friday. That’s when the Smiths Falls Bears welcome the Kemptville 73’s at 7:30, while Carleton Place heads to Rockland, also a 7:30 start.
In the EOJHL, Carleton Place hosts Renfrew tonight at 7:20. On Thursday the Jr. Bears welcome Glengarry at 7:30. Friday has Perth hosting Carleton Place at 7:30.
