
Smiths Falls Police are searching for a 23-year-old man accused of breaking his bail conditions by tampering with his GPS ankle bracelet.
Police say they were alerted on September 22 by the court-assigned GPS monitoring company after a tamper alarm signaled a possible breach. Officers began an investigation and confirmed the suspect had interfered with the device and was not following his court-ordered house arrest.
A warrant has been issued for Brandon WATTS-GOVEIA, of Smiths Falls. He is described as white, 5’6” tall, with a medium build. Police say he is known to frequent Smiths Falls, Kingston, Prescott, and Tweed.
