The Smiths Falls Lions Club hosts a free community dinner tonight from 5 to 6 p.m. at Lions Hall, 19 Abbott Street South. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Donations are welcome but not required.
Merrickville’s Art Walk happens tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Local artists will demonstrate live at storefronts including 1840 Guest House, Iron Forge, and Maureen McAuliff Art Gallery. Enjoy art along Merrickville’s historic waterfront and village.
The Save Perth College Public Meeting takes place tomorrow from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 244, 26 Beckwith Street East, in Perth.
And the Smiths Falls Thursday Night Cruise In wraps up for the season tomorrow from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Settlers Ridge Centre, 275 Brockville Street. Weather permitting, the public is invited to see the cars. Final night of the season.
Local Sports:
The Smiths Falls Bears welcome the Kemptville 73’s at 7:30 but not until Friday. That’s when Carleton Place heads to Rockland too, also a 7:30 start.
In the EOJHL, The Jr. Bears welcome Glengarry tomorrow at 7:30. Friday has Perth hosting Carleton Place at 7:30.
