Lanark County Interval House is offering Coaching Boys Into Men this year, teaching coaches across Lanark County to have meaningful conversations with their athletes aged 12-18 about consent, respect, mental wellness and peer pressure.
Public Education Coordinator Sadie Kotze says this is about making a difference with the next generation.
Kotze says the importance of a role model at that age cannot be understated.
The program is free but registration’s required. The next one is October 23rd in Carleton Place.
