Residents across Smiths Falls, Perth, and surrounding areas have a full weekend of activities to enjoy. Today, the Smiths Falls Fire Department hosts an Open House from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at 77 Beckwith St. N., where families can meet firefighters, explore equipment, try on gear, and enjoy snacks.
Also today, support breast cancer awareness at a bake sale fundraiser from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Smiths Falls Fire Hall. Nearby, Boyd’s United Church hosts a bake sale from 10 a.m.–noon at 450 Boyd’s Road, featuring pies, cookies, bread, muffins, and more.
Families can enjoy Thanksgiving Train Rides at the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. at 90 William St. W., tickets $19.56 via Eventbrite. The Smiths Falls Community Theatre also presents How to Train Your Dragon at 2 p.m. at 53 Victoria Ave., tickets $12.
In Perth, the Autumn Studio Tour runs today and tomorrow from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. in Brooke Valley. Now in its 32nd year, the tour showcases 30 local artists, handmade works, and a harvest lunch.
Tomorrow, the Ecotay Harvest Market takes place from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. at 133 Menzies Munroe Sideroad in Tay Valley. Visitors can enjoy 50 vendors, live music, food, drinks, and a kids’ petting zoo.
A free community breakfast also runs today from 9–11 a.m. at St. George’s, 2786 Tatlock Road in Clayton. Donations are welcome but not required.

CCHL play tonight has the Bears host Rockland. Tomorrow sees Smiths Falls host Rockland, while Carleton Place in in Ottawa to face the Jr. Senators in the first half of a home-at-home series. On Sunday, Carleton Place hosts Ottawa in the second half.
In the EOJHL tonight: Perth hosts Athens, Carleton Place heads to Embrum, and Smiths Falls in Winchester. Tomorrow, Carleton Place hosts Embrum, and Perth heads to Glengarry. Then Sunday, Smiths Falls is in Athens.
