Residents across Smiths Falls, Perth, and Lanark have plenty of activities to enjoy.
Today, the Smiths Falls Open Air Market hosts its final event of the season from 3–7 p.m. at Centennial Park, featuring fresh produce, crafts, food trucks, and local artists.
Music fans can also see Piano Men: Ultimate Tributes to Elton John & Billy Joel tonight at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Church in Perth. Advance tickets are $39, or $44 at the door.
Lanark’s Night Markets run today from 4–8 p.m. at 79 George St., with local vendors, crafts, and food.
Tomorrow, the Smiths Falls Fire Department hosts an Open House from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at 77 Beckwith St. N., where families can meet firefighters, explore equipment, try on gear, and enjoy snacks.
Also tomorrow, the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario offers Thanksgiving Train Rides from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. at 90 William St. W. Tickets are $19.56 through Eventbrite, featuring vintage wagon rides and caramel apple cider.
In local sports:
CCHL play tonight has the Bears host Rockland. Tomorrow sees Smiths Falls host Rockland, while Carleton Place in in Ottawa to face the Jr. Senators in the first half of a home-at-home series. On Sunday, Carleton Place hosts Ottawa in the second half.
In the EOJHL tonight: Perth hosts Athens, Carleton Place heads to Embrum, and Smiths Falls in Winchester. Tomorrow, Carleton Place hosts Embrum, and Perth heads to Glengarry. Then Sunday, Smiths Falls is in Athens.
