The Carleton Place Jr. Canadians are under new head coach Ryan Hawes as Cole Burton took the reigns of the CCHL club.
Hawes says he’s preaching the same messages the organization emphasizes to this batch of players.
He says it’s not a hard balancing act between managing growth and wanting to win.
A performance goal for the Jr. Canadians this year Hawes says is to make the playoffs. They hold a 4-5 record through nine games this season, sitting in fourth place in the Richardson Division.
