
A Perth resident is facing an impaired driving charge after being stopped by Lanark County OPP earlier this week.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on Dufferin Street in Perth just before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16.
The driver was arrested and taken to the OPP detachment in Perth for testing.
As a result, 62-year-old Albert Meeks has been charged with operation while impaired — blood alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on November 3.
