Drivers in Perth can expect delays this week as crews continue work on the Craig Street Reconstruction Project.
The intersection of Craig Street and Gore Street East will be closed today (Wednesday, October 29) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. while workers install new curbs. The closure is temporary but necessary to keep the project on schedule and ensure safety while crews operate heavy machinery in the area.
Motorists are asked to follow posted detours and plan extra time for travel. The Town of Perth says the improvements are part of a larger effort to rebuild local infrastructure and create smoother, safer streets for residents and visitors alike.
Officials are thanking everyone for their patience as the work continues. For updates on the Craig Street project, including detour maps and timelines, residents can visit Engage.Perth.ca/CraigStreet.
