Take a stroll through Merrickville for the final Art Walk of the season! It runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with local artists demonstrating live at 1840 Guest House, All the Things, Iron Forge, Maureen McAuliff Art Gallery, and Violets on Main.
And cine-buffs — don’t miss Jane Austen Wrecked My Life at the Station Theatre, 53 Victoria Avenue in Smiths Falls. Showtimes are 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 at the door, or $60 for a six-film pass.
Tomorrow, active and retired military, RCMP, and their families are invited to Veteran Coffee from 10 a.m. to noon at the Smiths Falls Legion, 7 Main Street East in the Lancaster Room.
Then in Toledo, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 475 hosts trick-or-treat fun starting at 5:30 p.m. at 320 County Road 8 — a Halloween celebration Toledo style!

CCHL action tomorrow has Smiths Falls hosting Carleton Place at 7:30. On Sunday, Smiths Falls visits Nepean at 2:30, while Carleton Place welcomes Brockville at 3.
In the EOJHL tonight, Smiths Falls hosts Arnprior at 7:30, and Perth visits Ottawa West at 7:20. Tomorrow, Perth hosts Arnprior at 7:30 and Athens heads to Winchester for an 8:15 start. Saturday, Carleton Place welcomes Ottawa at 7:30, while Smiths Falls travels to Glengarry at 8. Sunday, Carleton Place visits Athens for a 2:30 matchup.
