The RCL Automotive Build a Mountain of Food Campaign continues this weekend with a stop in Lanark, supporting the Lanark Highlands Food Pantry.
Volunteers will be collecting donations on Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon at St. Andrew’s United Church, located at 115 Clarence Street in Lanark.
Reverend Bruce North says all donations are welcome.
North adds that financial donations are especially helpful.
North says fewer people are bringing food to churches compared to years past.
The pantry, he says, runs entirely on volunteers and spends every dollar directly on food.
The campaign continues across Lanark County in the coming weeks, helping fill shelves ahead of the busy holiday season.
