The Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation is launching its annual Holiday Campaign, urging residents to support critical equipment needs at both hospital sites.
CEO Margot Hallam says community donations remain essential because governments do not fund hospital equipment.
Hallam says the hospital is at the heart of Perth and Smiths Falls.
This year’s priority list includes 10 new hospital beds, each costing $15,000.
Hallam says even small gifts help the foundation move closer to those goals, ensuring patients receive care close to home while helping attract new physicians and health-care professionals.
Residents can donate online at psfdhfoundation.com, drop into either hospital site, or call 343-881-4483.
The foundation is not sending a mail-out this year due to postal delays, making online and in-person giving more important than ever.
