Today, the Civitan Clubs of Perth, Smiths Falls, Carleton Place, Lanark and Almonte are back with Civitan Radio Bingo at 6:10 this evening on 88.1 myFM. Looking ahead to tomorrow, enjoy weekly bingo at Perth Civitan Hall. Doors open at five in the evening, and bingo starts at seven. Admission is free, and cards can be purchased as you wish.
Women who love to sing can join Rubies in the Rough, a women’s choir, meeting from seven to nine in the evening at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Smiths Falls. In Smiths Falls, the Lions Club hosts a New Year’s Eve party from 3 p.m. until midnight at Lions Hall on Abbott Street South. It’s a non-alcoholic, community-wide celebration, with light lunch items available by donation.
The Civitan Club of Perth also hosts a New Year’s Eve gathering tomorrow at 6787 County Road 43, featuring live music and a light lunch. More details are available from Jane Scott.
And the Perth Legion welcomes in the New Year with a dance tomorrow night. Light appetizers are served from 8 to 9, dancing follows with music by Three 2 Go, plus draws for three one-hundred-dollar gift certificates. Tickets are on sale now at the Legion on Beckwith Street.
