Kirsten Brouse of Perth’s Climate Change Advisory Panel provided an update recently to Perth Council on her group’s activities and plans. She gives us an outline of how the Panel started back in 2018.
She tells us who’s involved in the panel.
The panel meets monthly and is currently working on updating the Town’s corporate climate action plan. They’re also looking at reinvigorating the Re-use Centre at the Perth Landfill which relies heavily on volunteer help. Kirsten tells us what type of experience and knowledge they hope to recruit for the Panel.
The Town is expected to launch a recruitment drive early in the new year to fill vacancies on the panel.
