Climate Network Lanark is pleased to announce that their popular Neighbourhood Climate Concierge Program is continuing to roll out to Lanark communities in 2026.
The program invites homeowners to attend 6 monthly 2-hour sessions to hear from experts, contractors, and specialists on how they can improve their home’s energy efficiency, comfort, and environmental health for all occupants. They also deliver timely advice on how to take advantage of a variety of government funding resources for heating and appliance upgrades.
CNL project coordinator Sadie Brule tells of the history of this program
Lanark Leeds Homebuilders Association director Andy Cockburn says there’s an easy way to determine if your home, (no matter how new it may be) might benefit from a home-energy assessment and retrofit.
The Concierge program is now in its third year and Sadie says one of the big benefits to participants is increased confidence based on knowledge.
The next Concierge Program starts in Carleton Place on January 27th at the library. Participants need to preregister through ClimateNetworkLanark.ca and are reminded to bring $25 to cover printed materials and a copy of their utility bills for a workshop on reducing costs.
CNL is preparing to launch a virtual version of the Concierge program later in January, to get details when they’re finalized, email hello@climatenetworklanark.ca
