Wing Night is set for tonight from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kinsmen Pavilion in Lower Reach Park.

The Smiths Falls Public Library will host a Board Games Café tomorrow from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 81 Beckwith St. N. The free event offers board games along with hot cocoa, coffee and tea. Residents of all ages are invited to drop in and play.
International stand-up comedian Bobby Knauff brings laughs to Carleton Place tomorrow at 7 p.m. at Final Score Sports Bar. Presented by Yuk Yuk’s, the show features Amber Harper Young, MC Chad Noonan and a special guest to be announced. Seating is limited and purchase is recommended.
Carleton Place has three outdoor rinks that are maintained by community volunteers. They can be found at Carleton Junction (42 Moore St.), the Carambeck Community Centre (351 Bridge St), and McNeely Park (24 Alexander St.) If you’re interested in volunteering call (613) 257-1690.
The Beckwith Skating Trail is now open for the season. It’s a 1 km loop at Beckwith Park, found at 1319 9th Line in Beckwith.
There are benches to put on your skates to make getting ready easy. Skating is conducive to outdoor conditions which vary, so you’re asked to please Skate to Trail Conditions.

In the CCHL, the Smiths Falls Bears are on the road in Hawkesbury tonight and Ottawa tomorrow, with 7:30 puck drops.
The Carleton Place Canadians visit Pembroke tonight, Renfrew tomorrow, and host Hawkesbury Sunday.
In the EOJHL, the Perth Blue Wings host Renfrew tonight, visit Carleton Place tomorrow, and travel to face the Timberwolves Sunday.
Also in EOJHL action, the Smiths Falls Jr. Bears visit Arnprior Sunday.
The Carleton Place Jr. Canadians are also hosting Richmond tonight and Perth tomorrow.
