The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has charged a Gloucester resident following an impaired driving investigation in Beckwith Township.
Police say officers were on patrol on Cavanaugh Road shortly before 9:15 Tuesday night when they found a vehicle in the ditch.
After speaking with the driver, a 33-year-old woman was arrested and taken to the OPP detachment in Carleton Place for testing.
As a result of the investigation, Isabelle Lefebvre has been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol, obstructing a peace officer, and failure or refusal to comply with a breath demand.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, February 23.
