Rideau Community Health Services is seeking new volunteers to join its board of directors.
The not-for-profit, community-governed organization provides primary care, health promotion and community services across Lanark, Leeds and Grenville counties.
The board is looking for applicants with knowledge or lived experience in health and quality of care, social services, or inclusion, diversity, equity, anti-racism and advocacy.
Applicants must be 18 or older and live, work or volunteer in Lanark, Leeds and Grenville. The volunteer role requires about four to six hours per month for meeting preparation and attendance.
Applications, including a resume, must be submitted online by March 1. Hard-copy applications are available by contacting Executive Assistant Kristian Gundersen.
Rideau Community Health Services says it is committed to building a collaborative community of care rooted in equity, empathy and respect.
