The Beckwith Skating Trail is now open for the season. It’s a 1 km loop at Beckwith Park, found at 1319 9th Line in Beckwith. There are benches to put on your skates to make getting ready easy. Skating is conducive to outdoor conditions which vary, so you’re asked to please Skate to Trail Conditions.
Carleton Place has three outdoor rinks that are maintained by community volunteers. They can be found at Carleton Junction (42 Moore St.), the Carambeck Community Centre (351 Bridge St), and McNeely Park (24 Alexander St.) If you’re interested in volunteering call (613) 257-1690.

In the CCHL Smiths Falls hosts Cornwall Friday night, then travel to Hawkesbury Saturday.
Carleton Place is on the road, playing in Cornwall tomorrow, Brockville Friday, and Pembroke on Sunday.
EOJHL play has Perth hosting Athens Friday while Carleton Place hosts Richmond on Saturday.
The Jr. Bears host Arnprior tomorrow and visit Renfrew Sunday.
