ConnectWell Community Health has partnered with the Canada Revenue Agency to provide free income tax services for individuals and families with modest incomes. While the program operates year-round via telephone, ConnectWell will host in-person clinics throughout March and April 2026.
Trained community volunteers assist residents in completing their returns to ensure accuracy and maximize access to essential government benefits. Filing a return often unlocks eligibility for the Child Tax Credit, Trillium benefits, housing applications, Ontario Works, and ODSP.
The service also helps residents catch up on previous years, with volunteers able to file returns for up to a decade in the past. To ensure a smooth appointment, participants should have their Social Insurance Number, T4 slips, rent receipts, and medical expense records ready. Residents can schedule an appointment by calling 613-257-7121 or 1-800-667-2617 at extension 3105.
