Director Dave Clark on the set of "Don't Dress for Dinner"
A fast-paced French farce is getting ready to hit the stage in Smiths Falls, as Don’t Dress for Dinner opens this month at the Station Theatre.
The comedy follows a chain of secret affairs, mistaken identities and wild misunderstandings, as a carefully planned dinner unravels into chaos.
Director Dave Clark says the show is pure farce and built for laughter.
Clark brings decades of experience to the production.
He says the show would not happen without the volunteers working behind the scenes.
Clark adds the detailed set and dedicated crew reflect the strong volunteer spirit at the theatre.
Don’t Dress for Dinner runs Feb. 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m., with Sunday matinees Feb. 15 and 22 at 2 p.m. at the Station Theatre in Smiths Falls.
