A Drummond-North Elmsley Township resident is facing impaired driving charges after Lanark County OPP responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch.
Police say officers were called to Hands Road just after 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026. Officers located the vehicle and spoke with the driver at the scene.
Following the investigation, the driver was arrested and transported to the OPP detachment in Perth for testing.
As a result, 69-year-old Diane Tuttle has been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.
Tuttle was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on March 23, 2026.
Her driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days under provincial law.
