Smiths Falls Community Theatre presents Don’t Dress for Dinner tonight at 7:30 p.m. at 53 Victoria Ave. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students and children. Organizers say the comedy promises laughs and entertainment for local audiences while showcasing talented performers from across the Smiths Falls region community.
The Royal Canadian Legion Smiths Falls hosts fish and chips night tomorrow from 4 to 7 p.m. at 7 Main St. E. Dine-in and takeout are available. One piece costs $15, extra fish $10. Call 613-283-2101 after 3 p.m. Friday to pre-order and support the local Legion branch community.
Danny Michel performs live tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. as part of a concert presented by The Pews. The show takes place at 100 St. Lawrence St. in Merrickville. Tickets are $40 plus fees in advance or $50 at the door.
The Toledo Legion is hosting a Friday night wings fundraiser from 3 to 7 p.m. at 320 County Road 8, Toledo. Dine in or takeout. Phone orders and reservations open at noon. Call 613-275-2400. Proceeds support local veterans and community programs and services in Toledo.

In the CCHL: The Smiths Falls Bears head to Cornwall tonight to play the Colts, then welcome Pembroke tomorrow in the first half of a home-and-home series that wraps up Sunday in Pembroke.
The Carleton Place Canadians are off until Sunday, when they play in Kemptville.
Now the EOJHL: The Jr. Bears head to Ottawa to face the Golden Knights tonight to wrap their regular season. The Jr. Bears are off to the playoffs, while Perth and Carleton Place have been eliminated.
