The Rideau Valley Conservation Foundation is receiving nearly $58,000 in provincial funding to improve accessibility at Baxter Conservation Area.
The funding comes through Ontario’s Enhancing Access to Spaces for Everyone, or EASE Grant, supporting projects that remove physical barriers and improve inclusive access to outdoor spaces.
The foundation supports the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority and says the upgrades will help seniors, people with disabilities, and families safely enjoy nature.
The province has committed $2 million overall to the new funding stream.
