The rebuild continues in Perth as the Blue Wings chalk up their third straight non-playoff season.
The club effectively started over ahead of this season, with only one returning player.
A quick head count from Head Coach Bryan Greer leaves him hopeful that won’t be the case next year.
The Blue Wings were the second youngest team in the EOJHL
Greer referenced an encouraging statistic headed into the fall.
Perth also conceded the second most goals in the league, which prompted the club to acquire goaltender Jackson Howell from the Embrun Panthers at the trade deadline in their postseason push.
Howell recorded a 3-8 record with a 4.45 Goals Against Average and 0.885 sv% across 11 games with the Blue Wings.
