Late Rotarian Tom Foulkes ran the trivia event for years.
The Rotary Club of Smiths Falls is bringing back a beloved community tradition this spring with the Tom Foulkes Memorial Trivia Challenge in support of the Friends of the Library.
The event honours longtime organizer Tom Foulkes, who ran the popular trivia nights for more than two decades.
Speaking about the revival, Rotary secretary Joan Frommer said:
The fundraiser takes place Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 95. Doors open at noon, with trivia running from 1 to 5 p.m.
Organizer Ken Manwell urged teams to register early.
Teams up to eight people can enter for $160. Frommer said it’s about more than winning.
Funds raised will support library programs, furnishings and community initiatives.
