The Good Food Bank at the Table CFC in Perth
Operations at The Table Community Food Centre have changed today due to an Orange Weather Warning issued by Environment Canada.
Officials say the Gentle Fit program has been cancelled as dangerous conditions continue. However, the centre will remain open as a warming space for residents needing shelter from the weather.
Coffee will be available throughout the day, and soup will be served during the regular community meal to support those affected by the storm.
The Good Food Bank will also continue operating, offering drop-in access from noon until 3:30 p.m.
Staff say the goal is to ensure vulnerable residents still have access to food, warmth and support despite the severe weather, while limiting non-essential programming for safety reasons.
