It’s the 50th Anniversary of the Perth Festival of the Maples on Saturday, April 25th. Enjoy the Legion’s pancake breakfast, maple syrup products, over 200 vendors, the Car Show and live music. Take the kids to the Children’s Play Park and the Perth FireDawgs Obstacle Course.
Around the junior rinks:
CCHL Playoffs continue with the Smiths Falls Bears in the second round after sweeping Brockville. Game 1 is Friday against Ottawa.
Carleton Place lost to Rockland over the weekend. The Smiths Falls Jr. Bears are in the Barkley Cup Final, where they’ll face the Casselman Vikings for the championship. Game 1 is tomorrow.
