Two people are facing charges after a lost credit card was used several times in Smiths Falls.
Police say the investigation began after a victim reported their credit card missing and later discovered unauthorized transactions.
On March 15, 2026, officers on proactive patrols located and arrested one suspect wanted on outstanding theft-related charges. The following day, a second suspect turned themselves in at the police station without incident.
As a result, 48-year-old Bryan Mordy is charged with two counts of using a credit card, while 35-year-old Amanda Fraser is charged with one count.
Both accused are from Smiths Falls.
Police say both individuals were released with conditions and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
